We’ve been working for more than 20 years in a sector that we are passionate about, maritime traffic, and to us, it feels like a privilege.

But we get even greater satisfaction when we see how the solutions we’ve created over the years have really helped our clients, improving their daily operations and helping them win and retain clients.

Creating a digital platform for our service does not imply breaking with the previous system, but is simply a logical step forward in our journey. We know that what got us here will continue to drive us into the future: our desire to innovate and our clients’ trust.

1996

JCV is born

JCV - Expertos en Transporte Marítimo

We started our activity in Zaragoza as a family-run freight company specializing in international maritime freight. JCV Intercontainer, S.L. is born.

1999

Proprietary Software for shipment management

We implement our Proprietary Software for shipment management.

2001

First Website

JCV - Expertos en Transporte Marítimo

We create our first Website, including specific information on shipments, making JCV a pioneer among freight forwarders with operational data and predictive tracking.

2002

Leader Transport Aragón

JCV - Expertos en Transporte Marítimo

We found LTA (Leader Transport Aragón), a terrestrial container transport company, so that JCV can guarantee a quality service to our clients.

2004

Offices at Pla-Za

JCV - Expertos en Transporte Marítimo

We move from our first 100-m2 offices to a 7,500-m2 plot in the recently inaugurated Logistics Platform of Zaragoza (Pla-Za) where we have a Container Warehouse and Depot for our fleet of trucks.

2008

Opening new markets

JCV - Expertos en Transporte Marítimo

Having consolidated our main area of influence (Aragón), we open up new markets in Navarra and La Rioja.

2010

Outsourcing Service

We launch our Outsourcing service. We design fully customized software for those clients that trust JCV with the management and optimization of their Container Warehouse and Rail Freight Facilities, once again creating an added value service in the inland maritime logistics sector.

2012

JCV Shipping & Solutions is born

JCV - Expertos en Transporte Marítimo

As a result of a reorientation of our mission and business vision. Specializing in offering solutions adapted to each client according to their particular stage in the export process, taking on the role of Foreign Trade Consultants for sea transport, as well as other services.

2014

We develop management software

We continue to support new technologies and develop new software for the management of containers and the traceability of their cargo from the supplier warehouse at origin to the client’s destination warehouse, integrating their ERP system with our management program and the information provided by the shipping companies.

New Offices at PLA-ZA

We move to the rail activities area in Pla-Za, tripling our operational capacity in a company-owned plot of 22,000 m2, with a container Depot of 15,000 m2, our own Rail Freight Facilities with 1000 meters of track, and expanded equipment facilities including 3 Reach Stacker container machines.

2017

Offices in Barcelona

JCV - Expertos en Transporte Marítimo

We increased our presence by opening sales offices in Barcelona.

2018

Web Platform

JCV - Expertos en Transporte Marítimo

We take the plunge towards a Digital Transformation and become the trusted online freight forwarder, developing a Web Platform that offers total control of shipments, personalized online quotes and statistics that help our clients make decisions.
