Certified CO2 emissions report
At JCV, you already have access, through our MyJCV platform, to a certified carbon footprint report for all your import and export operations.
Since 1 January 2024, the CSRD (2022/2464/EU) directive requires companies with more than 500 employees to calculate and report their logistics CO2 emissions.
With MyJCV, you not only comply with regulations, but also optimise your processes and strengthen your commitment to sustainability.
Our report complies with the requirements established by ISO14083:2023, which establishes a detailed methodological framework for calculating, verifying and reporting these emissions, helping organisations to be more accurate and transparent in their sustainability reports. Its objective is to standardise the way in which GHG emissions are measured and reported in the transport sector.
Characteristics of the report:
It has been developed in collaboration with Pledge (accredited by SFC in accordance with the GLEC framework, aligned with ISO:14083).
It includes information on all modes of transport for multimodal shipments whose main mode of transport is maritime.
It is integrated into our platform for tracking shipments.
Once the journey is complete, and depending on the Incoterm agreed between seller and buyer, it generates the report with the total emissions.
It also takes into account important details such as the mode of transport to and from the port (truck, electric train, diesel train), whether the maritime journey involves transshipments, the specific vessel used for each leg of the journey…
An automatic monthly report is sent with the total emissions of all shipments managed during the month.
